What is SEO?

SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is the process of driving traffic to a website through organic search results.

For example, if you were to go on Google and search for “how long can butterflies fly?” search engines take your query and crawl the links across the web, delivering the most relevant search results for that query.

How long before I see results?

The length of time it takes to see results depends on many factors such as the age of your website, how many backlinks you have, and if you’ve had prior SEO work done.

SEO is a long-term process and something that should continue throughout the life of your website. Generally speaking, it can take several months before seeing results.

 

Will I see increased leads and sales?

While it’s impossible to predict how many leads and sales you will get monthly, when your website is optimized for search engines, it increases the chances that more people will visit your website.

The more visitors your website receives, the more likely it is that they will take actions, such as calling your business or purchasing a product.

Without proper SEO on your site, you may lose out on all of these potential opportunities.

What is my return on investment?

Understandably, you want to see increased revenue from your investment and would like to have an idea of how much that return will be.

However, a better question to ask is how much revenue is your business losing every month that you put off doing SEO. How much have you already lost? 

 

 

What is local SEO?

Local SEO, or local search engine optimization, is critical for businesses that serve local customers.

Many of our clients have local businesses that cater to specific regions. Examples of these businesses are dentists, lawyers, electricians, plumbers, restaurants, flower shops, and many others. It can also include service area businesses (SABs) who may perform certain services at a client’s home.

Local SEO is the process of optimizing for local search results such as Google Maps and local pack. It involves working not just on your website but on external properties, most importantly, your Google My Business listing.

Why do you have monthly contracts?

We feel that for our clients to get the most out of our services, it is best to devote at the very minimum of six months of dedicated SEO work. While less time can improve results, they are not substantial enough to justify the cost of your investment.

What if I don’t want a monthly package?

We completely understand a monthly package may not be right for everyone for various reasons. In fact, not every business is the same and some websites may require more specialized SEO.

For this reason, we offer individual SEO services for anyone who needs help in a specific area of their marketing or simply doesn’t want to make a monthly commitment.

Should I use PPC like Facebook ads or Google?

The best marketing plan relies on several methods, not just a single one. For this reason, MDM also offers Google and Facebook ads to allow our clients to diversify their marketing strategy.

We encourage you to include a combination of online and offline marketing to achieve the best results.
